The 25th Presidio 10 Race is coming on March 29, 2009 and we are looking for volunteers!

The Guardsmen and The Ashlyn Dyer Fund invite you to volunteer for the most unique event in San Francisco, where 100% of the proceeds go to two phenomenal charities.

The 25th running of a fun, family-oriented race in the Presidio of San Francisco. Runners can run either a 10 mile or a 10 kilometer scenic course starting and finishing at Crissy Field. Both run courses go over and back on the Golden Gate Bridge. Entertainment at the Finish Line Expo includes awards for age divisions, hot breakfast, party tents from multiple sponsors, and a concert produced by Another Planet Entertainment.

We are looking for volunteer to help for a few hours, a full day or throughout the entire event!

About The Guardsmen: Since 1947, The Guardsmen is a service organization of Bay Area professional men that has devoted its efforts to providing disadvantaged youth an opportunity to participate in camping, educational and other culturally enriching opportunities that they otherwise would not be afforded.

About The Ashlyn Dyer Fund: The Ashlyn Dyer Fund for Neurological Research and Support has been created to honor Ashlyn Dyer’s memory by making a positive impact for others affected with Traumatic Brain Injury. The Ashlyn Dyer Fund for Neurological Research aims to fund research and raise public awareness. Its ultimate goal is to improve care and reduce the burden of this disease often referred to as The Silent Epidemic.
